The Chinese High School 1978 – 1981
Mou Lih holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Economics) with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore. With his interest in data science, he enrolled four Specialist Diploma in Data Science programmes in Singapore Polytechnic from 2018 to 2021: Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Streaming Analytics, Predictive Analytics, and Data Analytics.
Mou Lih has more than 30 years of experience in investment research. He started as an analyst at OCBC Investment Research Pte Ltd and later worked as a strategist and head of research at Daiwa Institute of Research Pte Ltd and Westcomb Securities Pte Ltd, respectively. He still regularly provides market commentary in local media.

The Chinese High School 1971 – 1974
Kim Leng joined as appointed council member in 2007 and was elected as council member in 2008. He is currently in the electrical and lighting business.
He was involved in Hwa Chong Alumni Association’s Hua Ling Art Exhibition and photography seminars and courses over the years.
Kim Leng was also the official photographer for many Association’s events

Siang Meng served as a member of the Singapore Chinese High School Board of Directors, Chairman for Hwa Chong International School’s HR & Comp Committee & member of SMC in HCIS from 2020 – 2021. He has also served in the Hwa Chong Alumni Association for different periods.
Siang Meng is currently the Regional Director of Project Development for Suez in Southeast Asia (Recycling & Recovery) and is responsible for environmental infrastructure development and investment. Before that, he worked in ENGIE and as a government officer in the Sultanate of Oman for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to a special economic zone in Duqm. His other work experience covers investment, e-government strategies, and infrastructure investment in China, Brunei, and the Middle East.
He has graduated from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China for the Tsinghua Executive CEO program. With an Executive MBA from the Helsinki School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore
He also serves as a Mentor & Fellow at the Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS).

Hwa Chong Institution 2002 to 2007
Yi Da has been a volunteer with Hwa Chong Alumni Association since 2009 and serves on the HCAA Council since 2018.
Yi Da currently serves as Associate Director, Strategic Government and Institutional Relations at Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel). Yi Da leads the government relations efforts across Singtel Group’s operating geographies. In addition, Yi Da is also responsible for forging partnerships with private capital partners to support Singtel’s growth ambitions.
Yi Da holds an Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) from Nanyang Technological University, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Singapore Management University and Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) from the National University of Singapore. Yi Da is also Certified Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Analyst by the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS).

Hwa Chong Institution (College) 2011-2012
XiaoTong joined the Hwa Chong Alumni Association as a special council member in 2019 and has served as an elected council member since 2021. In 2019, she founded the Hwa Chong Alumni Association Dance Club, leading it as President from 2019 to 2023. After stepping down, she continues to oversee and support the club’s activities.
She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Economics from the National University of Singapore and currently works as an Associate Director in Debt Capital Markets within the finance industry.

The Chinese High School 1963 – 1969
Phak Heng has served on the HCAA Council since 2004 and was the Deputy Secretary in the 2006-2008 term. He also serves on the Hwa Chong Seniors Club (华中颐年俱乐部) since 2020 as Secretary General for the 2024 – 2026 term. He also served on the Board of Singapore Chinese
School and Hwa Chong International School from 2017-2021.
Phak Heng holds a Bachelor of Science from National University of Singapore and is the founder of PH Chew Consortium & ID Pte Ltd dealing with industrial planning, safety, office renovation and facilities construction.
He joined the Rotary Club of Garden City Singapore (新加坡狮城扶轮社) from 2008 – 2021 and served on the Board of Foundation of Rotary Clubs (S) Ltd, (新加坡扶轮基金会)an IPC status service organisation for the 2011-1018. He worked in JTC 1976 – 1982 and is President of JTC Alumni since 2021.

Hwa Chong Junior College 1985-1986
Jing Ping has been involved with the Alumni Association since 2021, beginning as a special council member before being elected to the council.
Currently, she serves as the Global Head of Project Operations and Head of Transformation at George Clinical. Prior to this, she held key leadership positions globally, including APAC General Manager at Cytel, Director of Research Integrity, Compliance, and Ethics at SingHealth, Corporate Vice President at PAREXEL, and Clinical Operations Director at Novo Nordisk.
Jing Ping chairs the Singapore Clinical Research Group Professionals Association and the Steering Committee for the Singapore Chapter of the Drug Information Association (DIA). She is also a Program Committee member for DIA-Asia and volunteers at Dover Park Hospice in various capacities. Her past contributions include serving on the executive committee of the Parents Support Group at Hwa Chong Institution (College), Raffles Girls’ School, and Raffles Institution.
She holds a PhD in Healthcare Management from The University of Newcastle, an MBA from Imperial College, and a BSc (Hons) from the National University of Singapore.

Hwa Chong Institution (College) 2007-2008
Tommi has been involved with the Hwa Chong Alumni Association since joining as a Council Member in 2018, and has been representing Hwa Chong Voices since then as one of the interest groups under the HCAA.
He has been singing with the Hwa Chong Voices since his graduation from 2009, serving as the President of the group between 2015 to 2017. Since then, he continues to sing with the group for both local performances, such as yearly concerts and Christmas Carolling at the Fullerton Hotel; and in overseas competition, such as the Busan Choral Festival and Competition in 2024.
Tommi graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering). He currently works as an engineer in a project’s governance role in the public transport sector.

Hwa Chong Institution (College) 2014-2015
Andrea was first involved in the Association as part of the Dance Club in 2020, where she served as the Vice-Chairperson. She subsequently became a Special Council Member of the Alumni Association in 2024, and was then elected as a Council Member in the current term.
Andrea graduated from The Australian National University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Environment and Sustainability (Honours). Having always been interested in environmental issues and human livelihoods, she is currently working at Michelin in the Natural Rubber Sustainability team, where she strives to improve the sustainability of commodity-related supply chains.
Her long time passion has always been in dance and loves how it continues to bring people together. She currently co-leads the Hwa Chong Alumni Association Dance Club.

Hwa Chong Junior College 1986-1987
Ai Teng started serving the alumni since the 1990’s, in various roles and capacities, including being a member of the editorial team managing the alumni newsletter Hua Ling (华岭), a position which she held even to-date.
Ai Teng has also served various tenures as an elected council member, and held the position of Deputy Secretary-General in the 1996-1998 term and the 2019-2021 term. She was one of the four Deputy Presidents in the 2021-2024 term.
Professionally, Ai Teng has an expansive career in public service and financial journalism. She has also served with several other alumni bodies, including Hwa Chong Junior College Alumni and Nan Chiau Alumni.

Chun Kiat has been involved in the Alumni Association since 2022, first as a special council member and subsequently as an elected council member in 2024.
He worked in real estate investment and development roles for more than 20 years, structuring deals and developing projects across the Asia Pacific region. In recent years, he has ventured into the startup environment, where he invested in a Singapore-based coworking business and grew its portfolio across the region. Currently, he is the COO at another Singapore-based proptech startup.
Chun Kiat graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil & Structural) (Hon) degree and a Master of Science (Transportation) degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Hwa Chong Institution (College) 2013-2014
Hui Min first joined HCAA in 2024, first as a special council member, and subsequently as an elected council member in the current term.
Hui Min graduated from the University of Cambridge, with a MSci and BA in Natural Sciences. She currently an Education Officer with the Ministry of Education, with experience as a classroom teacher in secondary schools, and as policy officer at MOE HQ. Hui Min is passionate about dance, and co-leads HCAA Dance.

Henry first joined HCAA in 2022 as a special council member, and now as an elected council member in 2024. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee for imPAct @ Hong Lim Green since 2018.
He graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with an Honours Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering. With over 20 years of professional experience from various roles in Sales and Marketing, Business Development in multinationals.
He represented the Hwa Chong Track & Field team from 1989 to 1992 and was the Vice Captain in 1991-1992. He was also part of the HCJC football team in 1994.
As a sports enthusiast, he wants to reach out to all Hwa Chongians through the alumni sports activities.

The Chinese High School 1998 – 2000
Lucas first joined HCAA as an appointed council member in 2023 and was elected to the council in 2024.
Lucas is an Executive Coach with a focus on empowering late-stage startup founders, family business owners, and senior executives in multinational companies to elevate their personal and business growth. With extensive experience in the tech industry, Lucas’s career spans government agencies, management consultancies, and a tech unicorn in Southeast Asia.
Lucas holds a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD, an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford, and a B.A. in Computer Science from Cambridge.

The Chinese High School 1987 – 1989
Damian first joined HCAA as an appointed council member in 2023 and elected to the council in 2024.
He has over 20 years experience in the investment management industry and currently an investment lead in an insurance company. He is also a founding member of the wealth tech subcommittee of the Singapore Fintech Association.
An avid sportsman, Damian was a sprinter in school days and hopes to contribute back to HCI sports, especially Track & Field.

Timothy has been involved in the Association since 2018, first as a special council member and subsequently as elected council member. He also serves as the resident photographer of the Association.
Timothy is Managing Director and the Head of Asia Pacific Credit at UBS Wealth Management’s Chief Investment Office (CIO). Timothy is responsible for the CIO’s investment views, strategy and recommendations on corporate and sovereign bonds in Asia. Timothy is also a member of the CIO Asia Investment Committee.
Timothy is currently serving as an adjunct instructor at the Wealth Management Institute-Nanyang Technological University in Singapore where he teaches Fixed Income analysis at the graduate-masters level.
Timothy holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance & Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Studies (Financial Analysis) from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Hwa Chong Institution (College) 2004 – 2005
Shawn has been serving on the council since 2018. Shawn is also currently the captain of the Hwa Chong Volleyball Alumni.
He graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a Double Degree in Accountancy and Business (Banking and Finance), achieving First Class Honours.
Currently, Shawn is the founder and partner at Traffic Bees, a young and expanding content marketing agency. Traffic Bees has helped high-profile clients such as Amazon and Pet Lovers Centre to enhance their online brand presence and drive growth.
Shawn was previously a national volleyball athlete. He is also currently an adjunct lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Jeffrey first joined the Hwa Chong Alumni Association Council as an Appointed Council Member in 2020. He was subsequently elected as a Council Member and served as Deputy Secretary-General since 2021.
Jeffrey is also a Board member and the Secretary General of Singapore Judo Federation, as well as a director of several Singapore listed companies.
Jeffrey is a Partner at Solitaire LLP. Prior to that, he held various senior positions in investment banks.
Jeffrey was awarded Singapore In-house Lawyer of the Year at the Asian Legal Business South-East Asia Law Awards 2009 and was a member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants for the 2009/2010 term.
Jeffrey graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the National University of Singapore. He is an advocate and solicitor of the Singapore Supreme Court and a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He also holds a Diploma in Regulatory Compliance from the International Compliance Association and completed the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser Programme of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Fu Hwa has been serving on the council since 2020. He also serves as the Secretary-General of the Taipei Business Association of Singapore as well as the Vice President of the United Chinese Library (同德书报社).
Currently, Fu Hwa is the Executive Chairman of a local industrial gas company with a significant presence in both China and Singapore. His professional journey began with the Economic Development Board (EDB) of Singapore from 2000 to 2002, followed by two decades of experience in the industrial gas sector across Singapore, Shanghai, Wuxi and Jingjiang (2004 to current).
Academically, Fu Hwa holds a Bachelor of Science (Building) with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Rong Hwai joined HCAA as an appointed council member in 2020, and served as Deputy Secretary-General in the 2021 – 2024 term.
He has vast experience in the financial and derivative markets, and currently working in the Asset Management industry as a trader. Rong Hwai is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Hwa Chong Junior College 1992 – 1993
Marinda has been serving on the council since 2018. She is also the Deputy President of Singapore Athletics Association.
Professionally, Marinda is a Senior Vice President of a local financial institution. Her career over the last 25 years spans across public accounting and multinational corporations, in Finance and Data Analytics.
Marinda graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accounting (Second Class Honours). She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Shih Boon started his volunteering service with Hwa Chong Alumni Association in 2013 as an appointed council member, Deputy Treasurer 2014-2016 and Secretary-General since the 2016 2018 term to present.
He served as a Director on the Board of Hwa Chong International School from 2016-2019 and on the Senior Management Committee (SMC) of Hwa Chong International School from 2019-2021.

Hwa Chong Junior College 1974 – 1975
Yiina has been a council member of Hwa Chong Alumni Association since 1992.
She graduated from Oxford Brooks University (UK) with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science.
She was involved in software development in the first 20+ years of her career and was Head of IT for the past 24 years.
Yiina was a board member of the Singapore Chinese High School for 10+ years and served on the Board of Governors of Hwa Chong Institution for many years.

Min Chong has been serving on the council since 2018. He also serves as board member and Secretary-General of the Volleyball Association of Singapore, member of the Board of Administration of Southeast Asia Volleyball Association (SAVA), Secretary of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Finance Council and member of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) Finance Commission. He is also a member of the HCI Board of Governors.
Min Chong is the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of a Private Equity Real Estate fund management company. He has over 20 years of professional experience from roles in public accounting and multinational investment banks.
Min Chong graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy in 1999. He is a Chartered Accountant (Chartered Accountants, Australia & New Zealand), Certified Internal Auditor (Institute of Internal Auditors) and Senior Accredited Director (Singapore Institute of Directors).
Min Chong represented the Singapore Men’s Volleyball team from 1992 to 1997, and participated in the 1993 and 1995 SEA Games. He has been a volunteer coach for the HCI (College) boys’ volleyball team since 2016.
